Privacy Notice
Your data, looked after carefully.
Last updated: 15 June 2026
1. Who we are
NeverMiss is operated by a UK-based product builder who is the controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at privacy@nevermiss.app.
The controller is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). This notice is written to meet the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
2. Who NeverMiss is for
NeverMiss is a service for adults aged 18 and over — typically parents, carers, or co-parents. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please email us and we'll delete it promptly.
When you use NeverMiss, please do not include identifying information about children (names, schools, photos, dates of birth) in fields meant for your own contact details. The lead-magnet form on our homepage only asks for a parent or carer's first name and email.
3. What we collect, and why
| Data | Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| First name & email | Send you the Term-Time Checklist PDF you asked for | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Your situation / pain answers | Understand who the audience is so we can improve the guide and product | Legitimate interests |
| Marketing opt-in flag | Send occasional product updates if (and only if) you tick the box | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — PECR-compliant |
| Basic technical logs | Keep the site secure and working | Legitimate interests |
We don't collect special category data, and we don't profile you for advertising.
4. How long we keep it
- Lead-magnet sign-ups: up to 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted.
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe, then suppressed (email only) to honour your opt-out.
- Technical logs: up to 30 days.
5. Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted processors who act on our instructions and are bound by data-processing agreements — for example, our hosting provider and our email-delivery provider. We do not sell your data, ever. If any processor is outside the UK, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- access a copy of the data we hold about you;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- port your data to another service;
- withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing).
Email privacy@nevermiss.app and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the ICO.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is limited to people who need it to run the service. If a personal-data breach affects your rights, we'll notify the ICO within 72 hours and contact you where required.
9. Changes to this notice
We'll update the "Last updated" date above when this notice changes. Material changes will be flagged by email to subscribers.
